Had a lovely stay, heaps friendly owners made it feel like home. Though the bathroom could use a spruce up, the comfy room and nice garden were sweet as.

Staying at Shiva House in Ubud felt comforting and welcoming. The architecture of the property is simply stunning. I loved the temple grounds and the courtyard filled with beautiful trees. Every morning, a large thermos of hot water awaited, which made enjoying tea on my little balcony a lovely ritual. The room had good air conditioning and clean bedding, creating a cozy atmosphere. The family living on-site added to the homely vibe. they were often seen in the garden or courtyard. the bathroom could use some improvements. It felt a bit neglected compared to the rest of the property, and I noticed some odd quirks with its layout. the value was definitely there for the price, and the friendly atmosphere and beautiful surroundings made my stay memorable.

shiva house has a beautiful entrance and clean, good-sized rooms. the coffee, tea, and hot water provided daily at the table outside were a delightful touch. the location is perfect, being away from the hustle, yet close to some great restaurants and bars. the staff was incredibly sweet and friendly.
